During one of the meetings of The Royal Society of Arts Fellows in Cowes, UK we introduced the topic of the decline of free play.
We started with a short lightning talk and asked the participants to read an article in the Guardian. Link
Later we facilitated a discussion about the different reasons behind play decline and a brainstorming session to find potential solutions.
Many of the participants admitted to not being aware of the problem and showed deep interest in restoring play in their local context.
